Project Manager’s with a strong HV background and Substation experience will enjoy working for this leading contractor engaged on Balance of Plant (BOP) projects for Renewable Energy developments across Ireland. Act as the technical lead for these projects, manage and lead the Engineering process in a growing division of this major organisation.

This major MEP Contractor are going from strength to strength, expanding and excelling in new markets that is making them a reputable and reliable employer. Working in a relatively new division going through expansion at the moment, there is a fantastic upskilling opportunity for the right candidate with progression opportunities around the corner as the division grows.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the technical aspects of Balance of Plant projects for Onshore Wind Farm projects in Ireland including cabling, substation and grid connection.
• Manage up to five Design and Build projects concurrently.
• Grow and progress your Project Management and Commercial skills within this role utilising support from existing team.
• Review and coordinate cross-discipline design for the BOP projects
• Take responsibility for overall delivery of the project
• Work from home available when not required in the office
• Travel across Ireland working on these major projects

Personal Requirements

• Degree level qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Strong HV/MV experience
• Experience in the delivery of Substation projects
• Experience in HV/MV design desirable
• Experience in the delivery of BOP Design and Build contracts, ideally on Wind Farm projects
• Happy to travel for projects
