Senior Project Manager
Up to €110,000 + full secondment package (Travel, Accommodation, Shared Car, Living Allowance)

Our client, a very well-established Main Contractor engaged on various projects within the Data Centre industry, are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Sweden and lead a Data Centre construction project. Having gone from strength to strength in this industry over the last few years, this organization have got an ever-increasing pipeline of projects that is making them a real player in this market.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Agreeing project objectives
  • Representing the interests of the end client and company
  • Providing advice on the management of projects
  • Organising the various professional people working on a project
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Making sure the quality standards are met
  • Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
  • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budget
  • Agreeing programme and delivering the project
  • Attending site meetings
  • Making sure the project is running in accordance with the programme and on budget
  • Ensuring an efficient construction site
  • Working with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safe ensuring safe construction at all times

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will:

  • Come from an Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) OR trades background
  • Hold a degree or industry relevant qualifications and experience
  • Hold 10-15 years project management expeirence on large projects (£50M+)
  • Have overseen / been responsible for the delivery of large-scale technical projects (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Power Plants etc.)
  • Data Centre experience will be considered highly advantageous
  • Be able to work on a rotational basis in Sweden (17 days on 4 days off)
