Commercial Manager’s with experience on Pharmaceutical projects will enjoy working as Commercial Lead for a leading contractor in the delivery of a Pharmaceutical project in Mainland Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a project through from cradle to grave, working with the EPCMV project delivery process. This role is a perfect opportunity to become an industry recognised specialist in a very relevant market in today’s world.

This well-established contractor are a market leader in complex engineering and construction projects with a large footprint across the EMEA region. With successes in the Data Centre, Pharma and Power Plant projects across the region, they are now seeking to expand their team with a Commercial Lead to deliver this exciting project. Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage and review the commercial performance of the projects from cradle to grave
  • Take full commercial control of the business unit assigned
  • Manage the commercial team to engender their continuous improvement and technical development
  • Identity and manage the business unit risks and regularly review project risks and mitigation plans
  • To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget
  • Promote continuous improvement with the commercial discipline of the business
  • Mentoring and providing career guidance to the commercial team in your allocated business area

Personal Qualifications:

  • Degree or trade qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Legal knowledge and understanding of different types of contracts mainly Fidic, JCT & NEC
  • Experienced in Target Value Design project execution
  • Proven track record for delivering exceptional quality pharmaceutical projects
  • Experience working with gated EPCMV project delivery process
