FM / Asset Management Division of a multi-disciplinary Property & Engineering Consultancy are seeking to appoint a M&E Engineer to join their specialist team in Central London. The successful Building Services Engineer will be joining a consultancy with a history dating back over 60 years providing professional expertise across the spectrum of property & construction from Architecture to Building Services Engineering, Construction Management and Property Management, with a national network of offices. With a diverse client base they operate across the commercial, healthcare, education, leisure, residential, infrastructure & retail sectors working with major blue chip firms and clients across the public sector.

Reporting into the Divisional Lead you will be joining a highly skilled team of building services engineers, becoming engaged in providing technical M&E expertise throughout the building life cycle from feasibility studies, to developing PPM programs, plant replacement and refurbishment projects focused on commercial buildings in London. Overall duties will include;

  • Complete Building Audits,
  • Production of life cycle reports,
  • Compile M&E Asset registers,
  • Undertake Dilapidation & Pre-Purchase surveys,
  • Produce feasibility studies,
  • Undertake condition surveys & reports,
  • Set up and review of PPM programs,
  • Assist in the tendering and review of maintenance contracts,
  • Project work – design and management of upgrades, refurbishments and plant replacement,

To be considered for the role you will have experience gained in the UK Building Services Industry, with a background in either Mechanical or Electrical Building Services, having gained exposure within either a maintenance or technical management focused role. You will also hold an accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) and be confident
