ICT Design Manager

ICT Design Manager sought to work on some of Europe’s leading hyper-scale datacentre developments within a Global Construction and Engineering business, who are engaged in the design & build of complex facilities for some of the globe’s foremost tech firms. Joining an organisation at the technical forefront of the Datacentre Build industry offering the following;

* Progression opportunities within their technology solutions division which was established in 2016 & is on track to turn-over £65m in 2019 with this growth trend set to continue,

* Projects delivered via an integrated supply chain moving away from the traditional contracting model, with involvement on projects from concept,

* Business focused on delivering best in class technical solutions,

* Exposure to working with on hyper-scale developments (up to 500MW campus’s) for technology focused clients,

The successful ICT Design Manager will join the technology solutions division delivering ICT infrastructure solutions to include; structured cabling, containment systems, control systems & ELV. Based on site you will work closely with the BIM / Revit team developing ideals / designs for complex builds with duties to incorporate the following;

* Lead the delivery of ICT construction drawings,

* Take on leadership for the production & control of the ICT design programme,

* Work closely with the estimating, pre-construction and procurement teams assisting in the preparation of detailed bills of quantities and accuracy costings,

* Review & challenge all ICT Designs for value engineering,

To be considered individuals will need to fulfil the following criteria;

* Educated to at least HNC / HND level
* Expertise within ICT infrastructure specifically cabling systems,
* RCDD Certification would eb highly advantageous,

Based in Belgium you will either live locally, be looking to relocate or be open to working on a secondment basis with weekly travel back to the UK, and will receive the following;

* Basic salary £70,000 to £90,000 or equivalent in Euros,
