Job Brief

• • Soldering through holes and surface mount technology components.
  • Assembly of cables, including fitting of multipole connectors such as DIN
  • Basic fault-finding skills, such as testing cables and PCB’s for short/open circuits
  • Experience of working in a laboratory/electronics workshop environment, including associated health and safety considerations
  • Fault-finding/repair of electronics equipment would be advantageous

Skill required

• Experienced electronic bench engineer
• Good understanding of RF theory
• Ability to construct circuits
• Knowledge of different types of electronic components and their uses
• Basic Electronic Qualifications
