Seeking an Associate Director to join a market leading International Engineering Consultancy based in their prestigious Central London office. Joining the Critical Systems team, under the direction of the Partner/Director, the Associate Director will take lead responsibility for the operational delivery of projects, the management of client relationships and the line management of team(s). The Associate Director will also contribute to the development of new business, as well as the development of technical standards and processes to ensure that all work is carried out and delivered to the highest standard.

In this pivotal role, the Associate Director will collaborate with our global critical systems team, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects. The role will also include developing new and nurturing existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business, and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering (MEng or BEng), who has gained significant experience in an electrical engineering role within the power systems field, preferably in a data centre/critical systems context (electrical distribution and power generation systems etc.). An established expert in the critical systems field, you already have experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, and are well-versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech, ETAPS or SKM power systems analysis software. They will also have recent experience having consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers to deliver to, and exceed client expectations.
