Mission Critical Engineering Division of a Global Engineering Consultancy are presently undertaking the design and delivery of several major data centre developments in the UK, Europe and Asia, and are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to help design and deliver projects for some of the World’s foremost companies.
Joining a team with expertise in delivery of complex data centre developments, the successful Electrical Engineer will work on projects up to 150MW in size, designing resilient electrical services to include; UPS systems, MV / HV power distribution, Switchgear and backup power.
Responsibilities

• You will Lead and support the electrical teams working on projects
• Perform complex electrical system design utilising software packages such as ETAP and Amtech
• Develop relationships with existing and new clients with a view to generating sales
• Carry out engineering concept design to detailed design, tender and contract on site supervision, to completion, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and that completion deadlines are achieved,
• Liaise with the design team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant,

Requirements
*Ideally will hold a relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
*Proven experience as an electrical design engineer with expertise gained working on critical environment developments.
*Either hold CEng status or be on route to gaining,
*Experienced in the use of calculation software such as ETAP and / or Amtech
